Rain, Puddles, and Worms

Saturday we hoped to take a bike ride on the Lake Wobegon Trail, but it was rainy and windy. Instead, the boys tried out their new rain suits and went outside to play in the rain.

Gabriel was happiest with the gutters, standing under them or filling up cups from them.

Isaac and Stephen played in the puddle.

And Jack rescued all the worms on the driveway and delivered them to the rocks by the house so they could find their way back to the dirt when the rain had passed.

About Wendy McCollum

I am a single mom to five wonderful boys. Life is an adventure, with many twists and turns. We live in hope, always, for our great God can redeem all things. There are so many funny and precious moments that slip by too fast. Perhaps here I can save them for when my own memory fails.

I was reading this next to Jon and he thinks the worms in the shovel are gross 🙂 Looks like fun to me! 🙂
