Twins

I love having twins. If I could have chosen, I think I would have taken all my children in sets of two (though during the time Jack cried his first 2-3 months of life I was glad there was just one!) All of the boys seem to enjoy playing together, but Isaac and Stephen definitely have the twin connection so many people talk about. They have moved on from holding each other’s bottles and snuggling as infants but still they look out for each other and care for each other and come to the other’s aid. Sure they have their squabbles, but when faced with an opponent or problem, they join forces.  This makes discipline difficult at times and often leads to both being disciplined instead of the first offender, but it is nice to see them watch out for each other. I love this picture of the two of them at the beach, taking on the ocean together.

About Wendy McCollum

I am a single mom to five wonderful boys. Life is an adventure, with many twists and turns. We live in hope, always, for our great God can redeem all things. There are so many funny and precious moments that slip by too fast. Perhaps here I can save them for when my own memory fails.
