Worn Out

It seems the norm that I am more ready for the boys’ bedtime than they are when I go to read them their bedtime stories and put them to bed. It is not uncommon for the twins especially to be up and talking to each other in their room an hour or more after they have been tucked in. One night recently we read a bit longer than usual. The story began with Gabriel and Jack romping on the bed, with frequent reminders to be quiet so Isaac and Stephen could hear. As I read they eventually quieted down and by the end of the lengthy chapter this is what I found.
