Tannehill State Park

Since our return to Alabama, Adam has planned two trips for us to Tannehill State Park. During the first visit there was both archery events and a rock and gem show. We explored the booths (which resulted in a bow for Gabriel to match that of his older brothers as well as a few rocks for the boys) as well as the mill and other old buildings at the park. Much to my delight, Adam assumed the role as photographer. He  took some good ones–the one with all the old wheels is my favorite still life. Sadly, there are no pictures of him, but for a happy change there are some of me!

The water at the mill felt good in the heat. And as usual, Sebastian needed his face washed.

About Wendy McCollum

I am a single mom to five wonderful boys. Life is an adventure, with many twists and turns. We live in hope, always, for our great God can redeem all things. There are so many funny and precious moments that slip by too fast. Perhaps here I can save them for when my own memory fails.
