Art/Science Friday

IMG_5781We have finished our first week of school here at the McCollum household and today was art/science Friday. Isaac and Stephen have been reading books of science experiments and have been antsy to perform some of them. Rather than be bombarded with requests all week long I decided Fridays would be a good designated day. Today the selected experiments were from a book called Super Science Concoctions. The chosen experiments were chocolate melt down and face paint. Such experiments with a three-year-old can get rather crazy, so Sebastian was tucked in for his nap and we got to work making chocolate swirls and chocolate frozen bananas and face paint. IMG_5837

The boys were a little hesitant at first with the painting.IMG_5786 IMG_5789

But they quickly dove in.IMG_5802 IMG_5794 IMG_5793 IMG_5791IMG_5797IMG_5812

Sebastian woke up while everyone was washing up and had his turn.IMG_5819 IMG_5824IMG_5832

About Wendy McCollum

I am a single mom to five wonderful boys. Life is an adventure, with many twists and turns. We live in hope, always, for our great God can redeem all things. There are so many funny and precious moments that slip by too fast. Perhaps here I can save them for when my own memory fails.
