A New Game

Before bed the other night Adam played a new game with the older boys. He gave them a letter of the alphabet and had them name something they are for which they are thankful. Jack got the letter P. Pears and pineapple. Isaac got the letter L. He named Legolas from Lord of the Rings. I played too and got the letter R. I said what any mom would say: Rest. Adam tried to stump Stephen with the letter Q, but after only a moment of thought he replied confidently, “Quantum Mechanics.”

About Wendy McCollum

I am a single mom to five wonderful boys. Life is an adventure, with many twists and turns. We live in hope, always, for our great God can redeem all things. There are so many funny and precious moments that slip by too fast. Perhaps here I can save them for when my own memory fails.
