Ice Cream and Pajamas

IMG_1266Before we moved to Minnesota, somehow I accidentally heard about pajama day at Bruster’s Ice Cream on the designated day.  Some of the boys and I were able to go, dressed in our pajamas and receive a free waffle cone.

When we moved back to Alabama Stephen asked one day last summer, “Remember that time we wore pajamas and ate ice cream? When can we do that again?”  So I searched on-line and found it happened in the spring.  Periodically throughout the fall and winter someone would remind me about it. Finally March arrived and off we went dressed in pajamas to enjoy our ice cream. The cones were as big as I remembered.IMG_1264 IMG_1263

About Wendy McCollum

I am a single mom to five wonderful boys. Life is an adventure, with many twists and turns. We live in hope, always, for our great God can redeem all things. There are so many funny and precious moments that slip by too fast. Perhaps here I can save them for when my own memory fails.
