Funny Sayings from my Precious People

The days go faster and faster it seems and sometime I feel like the moments slip away unnoticed. But every now and then my brain manages to hold on to a few things, so I’ll put them here before they slip away.

From Jack: He was looking at a grandpa lego minifigure in his book who happens to come with a newspaper. Jack commented, “He’s got an old-timey newspaper.”

From Sebastian while he was giving me a hug: “You smell yummy.” Lest I be flattered, he said the same of a bread twist tie later in the afternoon.

From Gabriel and he sat on the couch beside me while I was writing: “What is D?”                 “What do you mean?” I asked, confused.                                                                                    “You know, ‘We have sinned against you in thought, word, and D.”

And one more from Sebastian has we were all discussing future occupations in the car:       Me: You can be anything you want.                                                                                    Sebastian: Can I be a car?
