The snow was wonderful. We got in late, but the boys were ready to go out first thing the next morning. They have come a long way since our time in Minnesota. It isn’t so hard for everyone to get warm clothes on. We aren’t quite so well equipped for snow as we used to be, but we had enough cast offs from Minnesota to keep everyone warm. It is a bit sobering to say that Jack was big enough to wear my snow coveralls and boots, though they were a little roomy. It was also a joy to enjoy the snow with them for a bit, but then to go inside and know they are all old enough to play outside unattended. They hung on to the snow as long as they could. Saturday turned warmer, with some sleet, but they played out in it anyway.
In addition to enjoying the snow, Jack and Gabriel managed to squeeze in some shop time with Grandpa. Gabriel made a paddle boat and Jack made some tools for the oven. Sebastian played with the wood scraps and vacuumed saw dust.
