Fourth of July 2015

IMG_2875This year the boys and I went to Gulf Shores with Mike and Kathy and a host of other people. Unfortunately a host of jelly fish also came to the beach for the occasion so the boys didn’t get as much swimming in as they would have liked, but there was a lot of reading and playing in the surf and sand. We stayed for the fireworks (after a bit of a scramble an hour before they were supposed to start due to a passing storm.)

And we enjoyed a delicious breakfast with Gran and Aunt Miranda, Sam, and Erin at the Hangout.

About Wendy McCollum

I am a single mom to five wonderful boys. Life is an adventure, with many twists and turns. We live in hope, always, for our great God can redeem all things. There are so many funny and precious moments that slip by too fast. Perhaps here I can save them for when my own memory fails.
